First on Scene Training provides a complete Disaster Planning service, from moulage of victims to managing your disaster drill. We have worked with Corporations, County of Ventura, City of Fillmore and Los Angeles County Sheriffs Malibu Search and Rescue team for various training exercises.
We developed a computer program to generate the victim scenarios for your START Triage. This software can generate from one to hundreds of victim scenarios based on the type of disaster you are simulating. The program allows you to select how many victims in each key triage category you want for your drill. We then moulage the victims to make your drill as realistic as possible. What makes First on Scene Training unique is we can provide victims for your drill. We utilize Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who are covered under their organizations insurance.
We utilize the guidelines from FEMA IS-139 Exercise Design. One key aspect of our plans is clearly defining the goals and objectives of the exercise along with a definition of
“what will make it successful”. During the drill we provide observers who use the plan to “grade” how the exercise went. At the end of the drill we perform a debriefing providing your team with feedback on what they did well and areas they need improvement.

Moulage the art of making people look like victims of a medical emergency (medical or trauma). This includes using makeup, fake blood and latex appliances.
