Our CPR & First Aid classes are held at your location or alternately at a central location to meet your needs.
Our staff of EMS instructors brings years of teaching and hands on experience to the class room. Our instructors are EMT/Paramedics, Firefighters and Emergency Physicians working in the field of emergency medical care.
First on Scene is a member of NAEMSE (National Association of EMS Educators)
Ross Kocen- NREMT, BSEE, MBA Course Director- - Ross has been a National Registry EMT (NREMT) since 2004 and has completed the PHTLS Prehospital Trauma Life Support.
In addition to the medical training he has completed the NAEMSE 40 hour Instructor Course. Ross has been involved in pre-hosptial care since 1975, when he worked on Fire Rescue Squad for Brigdehampton Raceway. He completed an intensive Fire/Rescue course in extrication in 1975.
Ross has been teaching the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescue classes since 2001. Ross has been teaching First Aid skills to the Boy Scouts since 1997. Ross is a PADI Rescue Diver and an active member of Thousand Oaks DART (Disaster Assistance Response Team).
Dr. Ira Tilles F.A.C.E.P.- Medical Director- - Dr. Tilles has been a Emergency Physician since 2001 He graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine 1993
He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Elected Fellow 2003 San Antonio Emergency Medicine Alumni Association (Founding President), Emergency Medicine Residents Association. Dr. Tilles has authored numerous publications
